Hitesh Tailor

FRCS(ORL-HNS) AFFMLM MBBS BSc (Hons)

Consultant ENT Surgeon at NHS Forth Valley Royal Hospital, combining clinical practice with a long standing interest in digital innovation, clinical informatics and healthcare improvement. My clinical practice covers general adult and paediatric ENT conditions, with a particular interest in rhinology.

Alongside my clinical practice, I contribute to regional and national NHS improvement programmes, develop healthcare analytics and digital systems, support research infrastructure, and work with clinicians and organisations to improve clinical pathways.

Digital Innovation & Data

Over 25 years of software, web and mobile programming experience, developing healthcare solutions using an array of languages for different platforms. Transitioning into clinical informatics, using clinical and operational data with BI analytics at scale to influence health care services.

Leadership – AFFMLM

Taken on a range of leadership roles throughout my career, from President of UCL Surgical Society as a medical student, to various trainee leadership roles, to completing the Scottish Clinical Leadership Fellowship.
This led to recognition by the Faculty of Medical Leadership and Management.

Current roles include Data Lead for the ENT Specialty Delivery Group under CfSD, Council Member for ENT Scotland, Senior Advisor to Scottish ENT Trainees Research Network and Lead Administrator for local REDCap deployment.
