ENT BI Dashboard
Through the use of M365 PowerBI on the NHSS tenancy, I transformed operational data into visually analytical charts to aid the understanding of performance, pathways and pressures of the locoregional ENT service. With the use of DCAQ methodology, this has enabled a wider stakeholder capability of service redesign for both referral pathways and surgical waiting lists management. Through an iteration of various data-driven service improvements, waiting times have reduced significantly.
NES Medical Workforce planning dashboard
Using a variety of national medical workforce datasets held by NHS Education for Scotland, I helped draft a PowerBI dashboard to aid Scottish Government with accessibility and visualisation of data using Six-Step Methodology for workforce policy planning.
ACRT & Pathway Analytics
Using operational and prospective clinical data, have used analytics to scrutinise specific clinical referral pathway demands and outcomes. This has led to pathway-specific redesign for streamlining certain conditions as well as providing clinically auditable outcomes. In particular, low risk common clinical conditions and nasal injury have been subjected to an Opt-In process, improving capacity while ensuring the right patients are seen for the right reason. This aligns to national policies of Realistic Medicine and the Centre for Sustainable Delivery. Clinical outcomes are measured to ensure clinical safety of alternate pathways.
Prospective data continues and will lead into wider implementation and measurement on pathways optimisation.
